Nestled between Cang Mountain and Lake Er deep in the highlands of Yunnan Province, Dali features spectacular natural scenery, cultural attractions, and even a lively entertainment district with restaurants, cafes, pubs, and clubs. The Chinese term for “marble” is literally “Dali stone,” as the area has a long history as a marble producer.
