Hong Village is a picturesque rural village nestled in the mountains near Huangshan (Yellow Mountain). A favorite subject of Chinese artists, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been called “the most beautiful mountain village in China.” Some scenes in the Oscar-winning Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon were filmed in Hong Village.
