Jiuxiang, more specifically Jiuxiang Caverns or the Jiuxiang Scenic Region, is a scenic area near Kunming highlighted by a spectacular system of caverns. The caverns open onto a river gorge and feature large chambers, limestone formations of every description, and a long chain of terraces and waterfalls.
