Shanghai Travel Tips

In addition to the famous Nanjing Road and Temple of the Town Gods areas featured in the photos below, great areas for strolling, shopping, dining, and nightlife in Shanghai include the Xintiandi (新天地) area, the Jing’an Temple (静安寺) area, the Xujiahui (徐家汇) shopping district, Duolun Road Cultural Street (多伦路文化名人街), and Qibao Ancient Town (七宝古镇).

If you visit Shanghai during its hot and humid summers, be sure to bring plenty of changes of cool, light clothing.
